Two competing meteorologists are forced to find common ground in this opposites attract, When Harry Met Sally inspired romance, from #1 New York Times bestselling author B.K. Borison.

Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover a historic snowstorm, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.

Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal: If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. With unexplored chemistry burning beneath their clashes, the unlikely partnership quickly tumbles into an easy and surprising friendship.

But when other feelings start to enter the equation, can Jackson and Delilah withstand the storm? Or does what happens in the mountains stay in the mountains?

B. K. Borison says that her Heartstrings series is a love letter to the city of Baltimore.

I would go a step further and suggest that the entire series is a love letter to romance novels and romance novel readers. Every new chapter, every new story, builds and builds into this epic tale of love; love for the city, love for it’s people, and love for the quirks that can only be found on the East Coast.

The pages of a B. K. Borison novel are chock full of magic, nostalgia, and joy. She ensnares readers by capturing small town charm, even in a ‘big’ city like Baltimore, Maryland. A city that has admittedly has some rough history and a less-than-ideal reputation, yet I still want to stop and see it all through Borison’s eyes.

Excited

I am a weather nerd.

Amateur, of course. My degree is in English Lit, like many other book lovers, and I can’t do math to save my life. That being said, there is something about the weather that lights me up inside. Following storms that build seemingly out of nowhere, Mother Nature showing her impressive strength and determination, all of it fills me with wonder and awe. I love that even after all we’ve discovered about Earth, she still hasn’t given up all her secrets.

Finding out one of my most beloved authors was writing about two weather nerds who fall in love? I couldn’t be happier for two of my favorite thing to come together!

Jackson and Delilah are the embodiment of ‘opposites attract’. They’re very different in their methodology, and their mannerisms, and their overall outlook on life, but you know what? Variety is the spice of life.

Jackson finds comfort in his lists, organization, and planning. He thrives on being prepared. Delilah “is a hurricane wrapped in delusion draped in mismatched pastels with a stain from whatever she had for lunch smack-dab in the middle of her chest.” (Me thinks Jackson doth protest too much.) Delilah, our sunshine girl, goes with the flow in the hopes that things will just work out. Life hasn’t destroyed all of her optimism yet. It’s a lesson readers can take with us when this particular story ends.

Final Thoughts

I devoured “And Now, Back to You” in record time. I loved “First-Time Caller” immensely, and I’ve just been patiently waiting for the next Heartstrings installment. I’m so glad it’s finally here so we can all collectively moon over Jackson and Delilah. The hive is in agreement – we wish we could distill the magic and beauty of “And Now, Back to You”, bottle it, and microdose on it for the rest of our lives to keep this feeling forever.
