What a freaking ride!
This story is dark, twisted, and completely addictive. He’s dangerously obsessed, she’s insecure but resilient—and somehow, it works. The chemistry between them is off the charts, and the emotional tension kept me hooked from start to finish.
I absolutely loved watching the heroine grow into her own—finding her voice, her confidence, and her power. Her inner struggles felt raw and relatable, and I found myself cheering for her the whole way through.
“Once I knew you were it for me, I couldn’t wait for you to catch up. I just wanted to get started on life together. My life is nothing without you in it.”
As for him… he’s hot, magnetic, and maybe a little terrifying. Even when he’s plotting her downfall, you can’t help but want him to fall for her (which he does—hard and fast). Let’s be real: he does a few other things hard and fast, too.
Trigger Warnings
The spice is top-tier—intense and unapologetic—on the same level as The Ritual or The Sinner. Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in, but if you like your romance dark, obsessive, and scorching, this one’s a must-read.
