What should new-to-you readers know about your books?
I love to make you feel all the emotions. My goal as an author is to have you crying, screaming, laughing, and kicking your feet with giddiness by the end of my books (also maybe a little horny…what can I say). I also will never shy away from real world situations. While I love to give you a HEA by the end, you can be sure the journey will be hell. Definitely check my trigger warnings page to make sure you are okay with the content that will be discussed. Lastly, I do put a lot of myself in my books. I am severely neurodivergent (ADHD) or as I like to say ‘neurospicy’ and I try to add elements of this part of my life into the MCs. I was also recently diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), aka what Violet has in Fourth Wing that makes her super fragile, and I plan to start writing this into my future books.
Your journey to becoming an author is inspiring, tell us about it.
Well…it’s definitely an unconventional start to say the least. I have a masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and planned to spend the rest of my life happily working within that field. But to sum up a VERY long story (that is detailed out in the authors note of The Celestra) I experienced some horrid PPD/PPA (postpartum depression/anxiety) following the birth of my oldest. I was NOT sleeping at all and driving everyone a little crazy with my constant fears and worrying. My husband (the true golden retriever book boyfriend) convinced me to write down my crazy pregnancy dreams in order to tire out my brain and try to get
some sleep. The first thing I wrote down was the dream sequence in The Celestra…and somehow over the course of a few weeks that turned into a 100k word romantasy novel. I never planned on it seeing the light of day but my mom convinced me to print it for her and amazon KDP was much cheaper than UPS. Somehow the
right person saw it and made a reel and the next thing I knew I was a full time author.
What is your favorite personal genre to read?
100% Romance. I need all the kissing scenes lol but also need a good plot. And I don’t discriminate. I like alien romance, contemporary romance, fantasy romance, time period romance etc. If it has a kissing scene and I can get giddy when they hold hands for the first time I am sucked in.
What are you reading right now?
I am always reading (and re-reading) anything and everything by Katee Robert Talia Hibbert, Elizabeth Stephens and Laura Thalassa. They are my go to authors. But more specifically I am currently reading a dark romance called Shadow Play by Angel M. Shaw and I know she will be a forever autobuy author for me.
Besides your own books, who are your go-to authors and why?
Well…as stated, Katee, Talia, Laura, Elizabeth and Angel (I’m referring to them by their first names because in my head I am delusional and we are all friends lol). Outside of those absolute queens I love Jojo Moyes, Claire Legrand, Allie Maddox, Emily Mcintire & Nikki Lamers.

Which author are you most excited to see at Romantasy?
This list would be way too long. I spent the last year reading a ton from the authors that will be there and I truly have fangirled over probably 30 of them! But to keep it short and sweet I will say Megan Van Dyke and A.N. Caudle.
Are you an introvert or extrovert when it comes to big fan events like Romantasy and why?
1000% an Extrovert. I spent too many years hiding on the side lines worrying about what others thought of me. There is something about hitting your 30s that just allows you to not give a shit about what others think anymore. I wasted too much time not having fun so I am making sure these upcoming events are an absolute blast!
Any fun things your fans will find at your Romantasy author table?
Yes! I am so excited for all the goodies! I wanted to really spoil my amazing readers so I have a ton of merch available! I would say half is related to my books and the other half is Swifty book merch (I am a diehard Swifty). I’m also hosting a panel – Magical Meet Cute – Saturday at 9:30 and I have a fun giveaway planned for those that attend!
If you could take one of your characters to the Romantasy Ball who would it be and why?
Jaxon. He’s not the MMC in my books but he would have an absolute blast and I would just die seeing him get drunk and let loose or once.
What are you planning on wearing to the Romantasy ball?
Unfortunately I won’t be attending the ball. My husband and kids are coming down so we are having our own dress up party in the hotel room (not in a kinky way lol get your heads out of the gutter!)
What do you have in store for readers in 2025?
Sooooo much! I have the final book in The Celestra trilogy coming as well as special hardcover editions of all my books! Chaos and Calamity (my modern day Pride & Prejudice, brothers best friend, FMC has raging ADHD and is horny as hell) is coming as well as book 1 in my new Dragon Romantasy!
In addition to seeing you at Romantasy, how can readers connect with you and learn more about you and your stories?
Connecting with my readers has been the absolute best part of this wild journey. Outside of my website (www.HannahTill.com) where readers can sign up for my newsletter (that I am notoriously late at sending out) I will be attending 12 various signings in 2025 across the continental US. I have them all listed on my website events page. Along with two of my best friends I co-host a spicy romance podcast that is available on most streaming platforms called “Rainy Day Romance”.
Finally, a few “popcorn” questions: Disney or Universal? Sweet or salty? Night owl or early riser? Noble hero or reformed bad boy? Chocolate or vanilla?
Disney. Both. Early Riser. Always the Bad Boy. Chocolate or Vanilla with a spoonful of brown sugar.
Tanya’s love for books has been a lifelong passion that she likes sharing with others. Reading is also the thing that relaxes her after a day of juggling the many responsibilities that come with being being wife to an amazing man, mother to four great kids spread around the world, business manager, and farm hand on their place in southwest Missouri; home to Akaushi cattle and a menagerie of pygmy goats, horses, chickens, dogs and cats.
